SPARTAN 10\" filter cartridge with granular activated carbon made from coconut shells mixed with KDF (a high purity alloy between copper and zinc), meets NSF standard.<\/span><\/h2>\n

Filter purpose:<\/span>
\n- removal of chlorine, trihalomethane, organics, pesticides, herbicides, benzene, chloroform, trichloroethylene, solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, etc. Over 90 chemicals are filtered by granular activated carbon through adsorption.<\/span><\/p>\n

- heavy metals through the REDOX action of KDF - filtered\/reduced metals: lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury.<\/span><\/p>\n

- reduces limescale deposits through the action of KDF<\/span><\/p>\n

To be used for cold water filtration only!<\/span><\/p>\n

Cartridge change period:<\/span><\/p>\n

Durata de utilizare este de aproximativ 6 \u2013 12 luni* sau 52250 l*, in functie de volumul de apa filtrat si de calitatea acesteia. Pentru declorinare, se poate utiliza pana la 12 luni.<\/span><\/p>\n

Commissioning:<\/span><\/p>\n

- unseal the filter cartridge and insert it into the housing with clean hands or surgical gloves;<\/span>
\n- before consuming water, pass through the filter about 10 - 15 l of water to clean it from the black dust produced by the activated carbon.<\/span><\/p>\n

Precautions in use:<\/span><\/p>\n

Do not use with hot water, use only with cold water.<\/span>
\nDo not use with microbiologically unsafe water. Water contaminated with bacteria should first be treated by specific methods and then filtered through an activated carbon bed.
