Where do we use and for what?<\/span><\/p>\n

GAC is used in combination with automatic filters or with Big Blue filter housings.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The applications of activated charcoal are multiple:<\/span><\/h3>\n

- chlorine removal for residential, commercial and industrial areas;<\/span>
\n – eliminare materii organice, clor, trihalometan, benzen, cloroform, erbicide, pesticide, tricloretilena etc (peste 90 de substante chimice sunt filtered by GAC<\/em>).<\/span><\/p>\n

\n * pH range: works smoothly over a wide range<\/span>
\n *Bed width: 20-30 inches<\/span>
\n *Flow rate: 5 gpm\/ sq.ft<\/span>
\n *Flow required for backwashing: 10 - 12 gpm \/ sq.ft. (for automatic filters)<\/span>
\n *Space for charcoal bed expansion: 30 - 40 % of bed depth (for automatic filters)<\/span><\/p>\n
