What is Quantum Disinfection™?

Quantum Disinfection™ is a revolutionary technology that uses the principles of quantum mechanics of electron motion to create catalytically active (positively charged) surfaces that can disintegrate any type of microorganism instantly. It is the first time such a technology has been used for water disinfection.

In more detail, Quantum Disinfection refers to a technology that allows the creation of a new composite made of three materials with special disinfecting action.

Quantum Disinfection technology utilizes the technique of "Doping" (introduction of foreign atoms into a semiconductor), a technique recently discovered in the field of advanced semiconductors, coupled with the high disinfection power of cationic silver.

The Quantum Disinfection substrate is an alumina-based ceramic, enhanced with a strat of titanium dioxide and another layer of silver. These last two layers influence each other and create a strong cationic +1.4 eV layer on the surface of alumina, called the active surface.

The Quantum Disinfection phenomenon is related to the disintegration of microorganisms that have touched the active surface of the QD carrier. The strong cationic field attracts and breaks electrons from outer membranes, enzyme layers or reproducible DNA sequences, so any microorganism that comes in contact with the Quantum Disinfection disinfection medium.
