Next Scale Stop is based on a process called TAC (Template Assisted Crystallization) which causes the crystals that form the hardness of the water to stop adhering to metal surfaces and stick together.

Replacing the replacement cartridges and the Scale Stop treatment media costs much less than the annual bill for salt replacement in a conventional water hardening system of the same size (capacity).

Consumable replacement periods can be up to 3 years for high flow systems.
