Why is the PRO 6000 shower filter necessary?
Water from public mains is chlorinated. This is perfectly normal because the water needs to reach you disinfected. However, this chlorine in the water is not healthy for the human body. The steam created in the shower is inhaled and some studies claim that the adsorption of chlorine in the body is faster this way than if you consume water directly from the sink (unfiltered). For this purpose PurePro (USA) has developed the PRO 6000 shower filter based on two filtration technologies: chlorine adsorption and oxidation reduction.

PRO 6000 filter cartridge and replacement period
PRO 6000 contains a filter cartridge with KDF (high purity alloy between copper and zinc) and GAC (granular activated carbon)
The replacement period differs from case to case depending on the volume of water consumed and the quality of the water to be filtered. Usually this filter cartridge should be changed between 4 - 7 months. Changing the filter cartridge is very simple, by unscrewing, replacing and screwing the filter housing. No specialist knowledge required!
Installation of shower filter PRO 6000
Unscrew the shower hose at the base of the shower where it joins the bath battery and interlock. First screw the filter onto the thread of the bath battery and then screw the shower hose onto the filter. If necessary, use the metal piece included in the package and inclined at 45°.
Caution! Do not squeeze the filter forcibly. The housing is made of strong plastic, but with excessive squeezing pressure, it may crack.
PRO 6000 commissioning.
Before using filtered water, run approximately 10 liters of water through the filter. The first water run through the filter will have a black color as it entrains and cleans the activated carbon dust. This is absolutely normal!
The filter warranty is two years. The filter cartridge is consumable and not covered by warranty.

I purchased this filter because of a dermatitis that caused me terrible itching after every shower. I've had it for a week and already from the first use I've seen differences, the skin is softer, no more dry after bathing and the itching was not as intense as before using this filter. Great product !!! In the area where I live the water is fff hard. If I didn't apply super moisturizing body cream after every shower I would be left with skin so dry that it would squeeze . For my hair, I didn't need a conditioner, I needed a treatment. Now, after showering, the skin is moisturized, and remains shiny after drying and the hair, although I don't even use conditioner anymore, remains with a wonderful texture. I am so pleased that I have recommended it to all my friends, especially those with children. I am addicted to it and in addition it helps me to make savings ... for a filter that lasts 6 months (for 2 people) I gave no one hundred lei and the rest of the hundreds of lei that in 6 months I gave on creams and treatments ... remain in my pocket. Very satisfied with this product!
My husband suffered for 30 years from a skin allergy (small bumps that appeared immediately after showering, tickling, and disappeared in 10 minutes), and after 4 days of showering with filtered water, the bumps no longer appeared.

Ideal for shower
It is a water filter only good for baby's bath. The water is not so hard anymore. The filter was easy to install. Too bad I can't post pictures with the filter.
