KDF este de fapt un compus dintr-o formula de cupru si zinc de inalta puritate. KDF is used as a primary or pre-treatmentdepending on the application and contaminants.

KDF is used in many of our fillters with granular activated carbon in our shower filters too. The purpose of filtration with KDF is: reduction of heavy metals, bacteriostatic effect, reduction of limescale deposits, enhancement of activated carbon filtration capacity.

Filter media KDF is 100% recyclable and contains no chemical additives.

KDF is a member of NSF International.

KDF filters through a process called REDOX (REDUCTION - OXIDATION PROCESS). In timpul filtrarii, se creaza un proces elecro-chimic. In acest proces, electronii sunt transferati intre molecule, noi elemente fiind create.

KDF is developed in several variants:

KDF-55 = reduces chlorine and heavy metals, controls scale deposits, mycoorganisms, algae, even in warm water. It is the most widely used type of KDF. KDF-55 is also found in our filters.

KDF-85 = indeparteaza sau reduce fierul si hidrogenul sulfurat. Controleaza depunerile de calcar, micoorganismele, algele.

KDF-F = to be used together with block activated carbon. Reduces chlorine and removes bacteria.

KDF-C = is in granular form and is used to reduce/remove soluble heavy metals and chorine. Used in filters requiring low pressure.
