FILTER CARTRIDGE 10″ UDF CARBON + KDF + SILVER

Activated carbon filter cartridge, impregnated with silver and containing KDF.

This is a granular activated carbon filter, UDF type, with silver and KDF content.

What does the UDF filter cartridge filter?

Free chlorine, trihalomethanes, polyaromatic hydrocarbons, insecticides, herbicides, phenols, heavy metals, organic substances.

Exchange period:

It is recommended to change the filter every 6,000 liters of water or every 6-12 months. The lifespan depends on the quality of the filtered water and the contaminants present. To ensure the filter cartridge lasts for the recommended lifespan, it is advised that the preceding filter be changed on time and include pre-filtration.

The replacement period is also dependent on pre-filtration. If pre-filtration to a 5-micron grade does not exist, the replacement period will be a maximum of 6 months.

Where is it used and for what?

To be used with standard 10″ filter housings and only with cold water. To be used only with microbiologically safe water.

Will not be used with hot water

Maximum flow rate: 3.8 l/min. This is a filter intended for under-sink or on-sink systems. Do not use this filter cartridge for whole-house filtration or for water systems with flow rates exceeding 3.8 l/min. In this case, filtration efficiency will decrease significantly.

Precautions in use:

– unseal the filter cartridge and insert it into the housing using clean hands or surgical gloves;
The filter cartridge will be inserted into the housing with the part containing the gasket facing upwards.;
– before consuming water, pass approximately 10–15 liters of water through the filter to clean it of the black dust produced by the activated charcoal.
