What are anti-limescale magnetic filters and how do they work?
First of all, a „magnetic filter” is not a filter but a device. Essentially, a „magnetic filter” is a device through which water passes, and the anti-limescale effect should occur because calcium and magnesium ions are subjected to a magnetic field. In reality, most „magnetic filters” have a very weak magnetic field and the contact with water is very short. Therefore, the anti-limescale results are also very weak.
What is a bio-ceramic magnet filter and how does it work?
The technology of this filter is based on eight bio-ceramic magnets. These magnets are 100 times stronger than regular ones and do not degrade over time, being very durable. The filter also includes a filter cartridge with plastic discs with a filtration grade of 55 microns. This filter does not need periodic replacement; however, it must be removed and washed under running water or periodically flushed through the drain valve.
