ENCAPSULATED WATER FILTER GAC+KDF+SILVER 2.5" F

It is an in-line filter, encapsulated and loaded with granular activated carbon Silver obtained from coconut shell and with KDF, for the elimination of odor, taste, chlorine, trihalomethanes, organic matter, heavy metals.

Generally used in conjunction with sediment prefiltration.

Lifetime: 8000 liters. The lifetime depends on the quality of filtered water and the contaminants present in the water. As replacement period it is recommended to use a maximum of 6 months (6 months in case of the first filter for dechlorination and 12 months in case of the second filter for dechlorination).

Maintenance: there is no maintenance, the filter will be changed at the period mentioned above.

Precautions in use and recommendations:
- before water consumption, at least 10 liters of water should be run through the filter
- pay attention to the direction of water flow through the filter, indicated by an arrow on the product label
- requires 1/4″ male coupler
- the old couplings from the existing filter can also be used
- the filter contains plastic plugs in the two connection holes, these will be removed
- to be used for cold water filtration only, never for hot water
- do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or with water whose quality you do not know, without first having disinfected the water before and after the filter.

Certification: NSF, only for materials used in manufacturing.
