1/4″ WATER FILTER ANTI-LEAKAGE PROTECTOR

Anti-breakage protector for filters and water purifiers.

Installation

This device is fixed in the filter/purifier area, on the floor/furniture. In most cases it will be installed by fastening with two small furniture screws.

After fastening, the supply hose of the filtering system will be cut and coupled to the two holes of the anti-blocking device. The anti-leakage device indicates by arrows the correct connection (water flow direction).

Attention!
Turn off the water and depressurize the filtration system before cutting the hose:
Make sure you have enough hose length before cutting it;
Before connecting the hoses to the device, remove the red fuses;
Put the red fuses back on after you have hooked up the hoses;
Turn the water on gently to ensure that the installation has been done correctly.

How it works

If, for any reason, water gets into the leakage guard area, the pellet inside the leakage guard will swell and activate a rod that will block the water passage. Water can come from the filtration system or from other causes, i.e. other leaks in the installation. In all cases the leak protector will stop the water supply to the filter system.

Compatible with all filter systems with 1/4" hose, i.e. 6 mm diameter.
