Salt-free descaling refers to TAC technology, which stands for: Template Assisted Crystallization.

It is incorrect to say "descaling"; it is actually a conditioning of hard water. Through treatment with TAC (a filtering or treatment medium), the calcium and magnesium ions (responsible for limescale buildup) no longer create deposits in installations, referring strictly to limescale. The water hardness will remain the same even after treating the water with TAC, but the water will have other characteristics. The water will feel softer and be less harsh on the skin and hair. Equipment that comes into contact with water will be cleaned of white spots very easily and without harsh chemicals. Installations will remain clean on the inside, whether we are talking about pipes, water heaters, faucets, etc. The TAC Next Scale Stop technology has been verified by the German DVGW protocol, article W512, which certifies a 99.6% reduction in limescale deposits%, which is equivalent to any other classic water softener with ion-exchange resins (salt-based water softeners).
