SPARTAN FILTER CARTRIDGE 20″ KDF & GAC

SPARTAN 20" filter cartridge with granular activated carbon made of coconut shell in KDF (a high purity alloy between copper and zinc), meets NSF standard.

Filter purpose:
- removal of chlorine, trihalomethane, organics, pesticides, herbicides, benzene, chloroform, trichloroethylene, solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, etc. Over 90 chemicals are filtered by granular activated carbon through adsorption.

- heavy metals through the REDOX action of KDF - filtered/reduced metals: lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury.

- reduces limescale deposits through the action of KDF

To be used for cold water filtration only!

Cartridge change period:

The service life is about 6 - 12 months* or 137750 l*, depending on the volume of filtered water and its quality. For dechlorination, it can be used for up to 12 months.

Commissioning:

- unseal the filter cartridge and insert it into the housing with clean hands or surgical gloves;
- before consuming water, pass through the filter about 10 - 15 l of water to clean it from the black dust produced by the activated carbon.

Precautions in use:

Do not use with hot water, use only with cold water.
Do not use with microbiologically unsafe water. Water contaminated with bacteria should first be treated by specific methods and then filtered through an activated carbon bed. If this is your situation we suggest you consult our team of specialists.
