Pentair 75 GPD reverse osmosis membrane lifetime

The normal lifetime of a reverse osmosis membrane is 12 months provided that the water meets the above parameters and in provided the pre-filters are changed on time.

As in most cases the supply water cannot meet the parameters mentioned above, we recommend changing the reverse osmosis membrane at maximum 12 months.

For better water quality and less water to the sewage system, we recommend to always choose sewage reverse osmosis with pressure pump.

Precautions for use:

Do not use reverse osmosis membrane with bacteriologically infested water or
with water whose quality you do not know. If in doubt about when exactly to
using reverse osmosis technology, we encourage you to ask us.

Commissioning precautions:

• Do not touch the membrane with dirty hands, possibly use surgical gloves.
• Before consuming the first membrane-filtered water, filter enough water to fill two storage vessels (of the reverse osmosis system) that you will discharge to the sewer (~20 liters of water).
• Carefully seat the reverse osmosis housing o-oring. Grease this o-ring with food grade silicone.
