Note: TAC technology does not work like a classic water softener, by ion exchange and by replacing calcium and magnesium salts with sodium in the water. From this point of view, it should be called a water softener or more correctly a conditioner. So bear in mind that it is not a traditional softener and that the calcium and magnesium ions remain in the water but in a form that stops deposits. So, the hardness of the water will remain the same before and after treatment with TAC.
